ABOUT THE JON MEMORIAL RUN

The Jon Memorial Run was created by Noah Atlan to honor the memory and legacy of his beloved brother, Jonathan Atlan.

Jonathan was a passionate athlete who loved football and the values it instilled—teamwork, perseverance, and resilience. During his football career, he suffered two concussions that significantly affected his life. His experience brought awareness to the often-unseen challenges that can follow head injuries and the importance of mental health support.

In Jonathan’s memory, family, friends, and supporters gather each year to celebrate his life and continue his legacy through a cause that can help others facing similar struggles.

HONOURING JON'S LEGACY

All proceeds from the Jon Memorial Run are donated to the Mental Illness Department at the Jewish General Hospital, helping provide critical support, resources, treatment, and hope to individuals and families affected by mental illness. Through research, specialized care, and community programs, the department works tirelessly to improve the lives of those facing mental health challenges.

By participating in the Jon Memorial Run—whether by running, walking, volunteering, sponsoring, or donating—you are helping make a meaningful difference while honoring Jonathan’s memory.

Together, we remember Jonathan. Together, we raise awareness. Together, we bring hope to those who need it most.

In Memory of Jonathan Atlan — Running for Mental Health, Hope, and Healing.

“Every Step Honors Jonathan. Every Dollar Supports Mental Health.”

MAKING AN IMPACT

On March 17, 2026, Noah Atlan met with the staff of the Jewish General Hospital’s Teen  Health Unit to proudly present the proceeds from the previous year’s Jon’s Memorial Run. The funds raised through the event were donated to support adolescent mental health services, helping provide resources, care, and hope to young people facing mental health challenges. This meaningful contribution continues Jonathan Atlan’s legacy while raising awareness about the importance of mental health support for youth and families in our community.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference and greatly helps the department continue its important work supporting youth and families in our community.
